Delaware State University Adds to Its Enrollment Management Team

Delaware State University, the historically Black educational institution in Dover, has announced the appointments of three individuals to its enrollment management team.

Al Dorsett was named director of financial aid. He has been serving as director of the Office of Student Financial Aid at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Earlier, he held financial aid posts at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, and the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dorsett holds a bachelor’s degree in business communications and a master’s degree in communications from Kean University.

Toshia Williams is the new executive director of student accounts at Delaware State University. She was the director of financial aid at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.  Earlier, she held financial aid posts at Temple University in Philadelphia, Johnson College in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Bergen Community College in New Jersey. Williams holds a master’s degree in management and organizational leadership from Wilmington University in Delaware.

Kareem McLemore was appointed executive director of admissions. He was director of financial aid at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. He joined the staff at Wiley College in 2006. McLemore holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Wiley College and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Louisiana Tech University in Rushton.
