The New Dean of Students at Tuskegee University in Alabama

Mandrake Miller has been appointed dean of students in the Division of Student Affairs at Tuskegee University in Alabama. Miller has held student affairs posts at Livingstone College in North Carolina, Bethune-Cookman University in Florida, Chowan University in North Carolina, and Virginia Union University in Richmond.

In accepting the post, Miller stated that “my continuing work in support of university-level student affairs has allowed me to positively affect the lives of students, while providing them opportunities for growth. Tuskegee has such rich history and I’m excited to be a part of the team here. I look forward to building relationships with staff and students, and creating new programs to enhance the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs here at Tuskegee University.”

Miller is a graduate of Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina, where he majored in sports and recreation and Christian education. He holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and is working on a doctorate in the same field at Grand Canyon University.
