The New Provost of the Norfolk Campus of Tidewater Community College

jeffery.boydTidewater Community College in Virginia has announced that Jeffrey S. Boyd will be the next provost of the college’s Norfolk campus. The downtown campus serves about 14,000 students each year. Dr. Boyd will being his new role on August 1.

Dr. Boyd has been serving as dean of sustainability, business, and career technologies at Elgin Community College in Illinois. Earlier in his career, he was on the staff at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California.

Dr. Boyd holds a bachelor’s degree in human services, a master’s degree in education, and a doctorate in community college leadership.
