Patrick Liverpool to Serve as Provost at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Patrick Liverpool_interim provostPatrick Liverpool was appointed interim provost and vice president of academic affairs at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Since retiring from his post as the MBNA Professor of Management and dean of the School of Management at Delaware State University, Dr. Liverpool has filled in as an interim executive at several universities. This past academic year, Dr. Liverpool served as interim dean of the School of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. Earlier he served as interim provost at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, and interim dean of the School of Business at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. “I have completed several interim positions with the intention of ensuring there is continuity and progress and to lay the groundwork for the incoming provost or dean,” Dr. Liverpool stated.

Dr. Liverpool holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. He holds a doctorate in business administration from Kent State University in Ohio.
