Claflin University Gears Up Its Online Offerings

cu-online1BCCB5F7720B1Claflin University, the historically Black educational institution in Orangeburg, South Carolina, has announced that the university will begin to offer online courses this coming summer. About 35 courses will be offered online.

In the fall of 2014, three degree programs will be offered that can be taken totally online. The degree programs include criminal justice, organizational management, and a master’s of business administration.

Karl S. Wright, provost at Claflin University, stated, “Entering the online education space is consistent with our mission of being a student-oriented institution. Beginning this summer, our students will have the flexibility of staying at home, studying abroad or working on an internship while taking courses by Claflin professors.”
