With Hurricane Approaching, Cheyney University Shuts Down

With Hurricane Sandy bearing down on the East Coast, Cheyney University in Pennsylvania called off classes for Monday October 29 and urged any students who were on campus to leave and return to their homes if possible.
Weather forecasts say up to 10 inches of rain or more may fall on the area over the next two days with damaging winds.
Nearby Lincoln University, another HBCU, also closed off classes for Monday and Tuesday.
