Oakwood University Offers Healthy Dining Options

Oakwood University, the historically Black educational institution in Huntsville, Alabama, claims to operate the only vegetarian/vegan cafeteria at any of the nation’s 105 HBCUs. The new cafeteria was opened last month after a major renovation.

Now the university has opened a second “healthy” dining option. The university’s Zebi’s, short for Zesty Bistro, offers fresh smoothies, decaffeinated coffee, and healthy sandwiches. The bistro is opened to the public as well as to Oakwood students.
