New Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Florida A&M University

Michael Thompson was appointed dean of the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. He has been serving as assistant dean for clinical affairs at the college. Dr. Thompson joined the faculty at the College of Pharmacy in 1981 as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice. He was promoted to full professor in 2001.

Dr. Thompson earned a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in pharmacy at the University of Michigan.
