Willie Williams is the new vice president for student affairs at Fort Valley State University in Georgia. He has been serving in the position on an interim basis since last fall.
Williams has been on the staff at Fort Valley State since 2007 when he was hired as director of alumni affairs. He was appointed associate vice president of student affairs in July 2011. Prior to 2007, Williams was an administrator at Clark Atlanta University, Georgia Perimeter College, Morris Brown College, and Clayton State University.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education and a master’s degree in guidance counseling from Fort Valley State University.
