In 2018, Dr. Griswold was appointed vice president for academic affairs at Albany Technical College. Earlier, he was dean of academic affairs for the construction, manufacturing, and transportation division at the college. Dr. Griswold began his career at Albany Technical College in 2004 as an instructor in criminal justice.
Kimberly Ballard-Washington has served as interim president since July 2019. Earlier, she was associate vice chancellor for legal affairs for the University System of Georgia and is the former associate director of legal affairs for the flagship campus of the University of Georgia in Athens.

Dr. Rogers will take office on July 1. Currently, he is dean of the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and previously was the university’s associate provost.
