Dawn Bragg Appointed Dean of Medical Student Affairs at the University of South Dakota

Dr. Bragg had been serving as a professor of pediatrics and associate dean for student inclusion and academic enrichment at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She has been on the staff there since 1994.

The three African American faculty members appointed to new positions are Donald R. Easton-Brooks of the University of South Dakota, Tiphanie Yanique at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and Laurence Ralph at Princeton University in New Jersey.

Gina S. Brown was appointed dean of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences at Howard University. Donald R. Easton-Brooks was appointed dean of the School of Education at the University of South Dakota and Cheryl Wyrick was named interim dean of the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona.

Samuel Dagogo-Jack was named president of medicine and science for the American Diabetes Association and Moses Ikiugu was elected to a three-year term as the American delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
