Taking on new administrative posts are Kendall Isaac at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, Moira Poe at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Angela Graham-Williams at Xavier University in New Orleans, John Mack at Princeton University in New Jersey, Tiffany D. Tucker at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and Monique Howard at the University of Pennsylvania.

The Twelfth Chancellor of North Carolina Central University in Durham

Johnson O. Akinleye has served as interim chancellor since January. He was appointed provost at the university in 2014. Earlier, Dr. Akinleye was associate vice chancellor for academic programs at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

The appointees are W. Kent Guion at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Meredith Evans at Washington University, Tanya Barnes-Jones at Saint Augustine's University and Lee A. McElroy Jr. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Since 2007, Dr. Johnson O. Akinleye has been associate vice chancellor for academic programs at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He holds a Ph.D. in communications from Howard University.
