Under the program, representatives of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund visited 452 high schools, community organizations, and other groups to provide information about opportunities in the Army’s Reserve Officer Training Program.
The former deputy commanding general of the Army Corps of Engineers is a new professor of practice in the Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The Army will gain the expertise of engineering faculty at the university and Alabama A&M will benefit by exposing its students to advanced research in a field with extensive employment opportunities.
