Dr. Ivy was recognized by the White House for her outstanding background in community service. She is known for creating the U.S. to Uganda Connections Program, an international initiative that uses technology to inspire and empower youth through educational exchanges and leadership development.
Morakinyo A.O. Kuti has been named president of historically Black Central State University in Ohio. Dr. Kuti has held numerous leadership roles in his tenure with the university, most recently serving as vice president of research and economic development.
Clark is currently serving as senior associate dean of academic affairs and a tenured law professor at St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. He will become dean of the Delaware Law School on July 1.
Dr. Wallace has been serving as president of the Hastings Campus of Nebraska Central Community College, where he has worked since 2019. Prior to that, he was a dean at New River Community and Technical College in Beckley, West Virginia.
Most recently, Dr. Wallace served as dean of workforce, technical, and community education at New River Community and Technical College in Beckley, West Virginia. His new duties will include serving as vice president for the three-campus Central Community College system.
Tamara F. Lawson has been named dean of St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. Professor Lawson, who had been serving as interim dean since June 2018, earlier was associate dean for academic affairs from 2017 to June 2018.
Taking on new assignments are Gilbert Cornelius at St. Thomas University in Minnesota, Del Wright Jr. at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Sheri Williams at American University in Washington, D.C., Brian Boyd at the University of Kansas, and Joe M. Brown at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina.
