Since August 2014, Dr. Rose has been the president of Los Angeles Southwest College. Before taking the helm at Los Angeles Southwest College, she served for three years are vice president of academic affairs at Santa Ana College.
Seven black administrators are taking on new duties at colleges and universities across the nation.
• Linda Rose was appointed vice president of academic affairs at Santa Ana College in California. Since 2005, she has served as dean of liberal arts at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.
