Dr. Bromery was a former professor of geology and chancellor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He also served as president of Westfield State College, Roxbury Community College, and Springfield College.
The college has hired Wayne Budd, a litigator with the law firm Goodwin Proctor and a former associate attorney general of the United States, to conduct a sweeping investigation of all allegations of impropriety at the college.
From 2002 to 2011, Dr. Turner was president of the Urban College of Boston.
Terrence A. Gomes, president for the past nine years, has been under fire for alleged underreporting of crime on campus and for major delays in the distribution of financial aid to students.
He was dean of enrollment management and judicial affairs at Roxbury Community College in Boston.
