Since 2019, Dr. Williams has been serving as president of Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York. Earlier, he was vice president for student affairs at North Shore Community College in Danvers, Massachusetts. Before that, he held various administrative posts at Northeastern Illinois University.
Monica Parrish Trent currently serves as instructional dean of the English Language for Academic Purposes, Linguistics, and Communications at Montgomery College in Maryland. She has been on the faculty at Montgomery College since 2000.
DeRionne Pollard is president of Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. She is being honored for an ambitious strategic plan, which focused on student retention and completion. She will receive a $500,000 award to support her academic initiatives.
The appointees are Debra Bright at Montgomery College, Willie Bernard Jackson Jr. at Edward Waters College, Rosalyn Martin at UNC-Wilmington, Shelley Davis at Howard University, Dwight K. Hamilton at Smith College, and E. D’Wayne Robinson at Florida A&M University.
