Long has served as interim president since July 2020 and is the first African American to lead the institution. Before being named interim president in 2020, Long had served as the university’s vice president of administration and finance and chief financial officer since 2013. Earlier, he served for five years as assistant vice president of administration and finance at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.

Christopher Hunt was serving as associate dean of students and director of intercultural advancement at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Earlier in his career Hunt was associate director of residence life at Lafayette College.
Luke Powery was appointed to a second five-year term as dean of the Duke Chapel on the campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and Cornelia Sewell-Allen is the new dean of student life at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania.
