The new appointees are Derrick Magee at North Carolina Central University, Qubieinique Greer at Lincoln University (Missouri), Rosemonde Pierre-Louis at New York University, Michael Grant at Talladega College, Roy Gifford at Cleveland State University, Ronald Higgins at Yale, and Todd Campbell at Delta State University.

For over three decades, Dr. Morris has served in several roles at Tuskegee University including chief of staff to the president and secretary to the board of trustees. Most recently, Dr. Morris served as the director of the university’s Title III program.

Since 2016, Dr. Bennett-Fairs has been serving as vice president for student affairs at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Earlier, she was vice president for student affairs at Kentucky State University.

Dr. Tyrone Jackson has been serving as vice president of administrative services at the Utica campus of Hinds Community College. Previously, he was associate vice president for student services at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston.

For the past five years, Dr. Warmack has served as president of Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis, Missouri. Earlier, Dr. Warmack served as senior vice president at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and as the associate dean of students at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Jackson currently serves as vice president for the Utica campus and district dean of students of Hinds Community College in Mississippi. Earlier in his career, Dr. Jackson held a number of administrative posts at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Dr. Butts taught at Mississippi Valley State University and Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. In 1975, he was named the eleventh president of Kentucky State University.

Since its founding in 1861, Tuskegee University in Alabama has had only seven presidents. But it's latest leader has lasted only three years. Brian L. Johnson's contract was not renewed and Charlotte P. Morris was named interim president.

In 2010, at the age of 33, Dr. Warmack was appointed the youngest vice president in the history of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. In 2013 he was promoted to senior vice president for administration and student services.
