Taking on new roles as diversity administrators are Tomicka Wagstaff at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, Keisha Love at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and Patricia Bradley at Towson University in Maryland.

Taking on new assignments are Dana Rice at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Charles DeSassure at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia, and Jameliah Inga Shorter-Bourhanou at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Vincent Rougeau has been dean of the Boston College Law School since 2011. Prior to his role at Boston College, Rougeau was a tenured professor of law at Notre Dame Law School and served as their associate dean for academic affairs from 1999-2002.

Appointed to new positions are Gloria Johnson-Cusack at Florida International University, Joseph Ballard II at Iowa State University, Maria Ramirez at New York University, Cornell B. LeSane II at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Samba Dieng at Louisiana State University.

Taking on new administrative duties are Rosalind Conerly at Stanford University in California, Danisha Williams at Mississippi Valley State University, Nikeshia Arthur at Virginia Tech, and Marcus Blossom at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts

Walter Rucker, Eddie Glaude Jr., and Reginald McGee were named to new positions in academia.

Lorelle Semley, an associate professor of history at th College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, will share the Bentley Book Prize from the World History Association. Dr. Semley’s book, described by a reviewer as a “staple of reading lists for years to come,” explores the meaning of citizenship for French colonial subjects of African descent.

They are: Robin Means Coleman at the University of Michigan, Heidi R. Lewis at Colorado College, Nsoki Mavinga at Swarthmore College, Haywood L. Brown at the University of South Florida, Arris Golden at Michigan State University, and Andre Isaacs at the College of the Holy Cross.

Since 2006, Dr. Michele C. Murray has been vice president for the Division of Student Development at Seattle University in Washington State. Earlier, she held student affairs posts at Loyola University Maryland and the University of Vermont.

Dr. McNeil was was the first African American woman to serve on the faculty at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She also was the first woman tenure-track faculty member in the psychology department at the college.

William Darity Jr., a professor at Duke University, was named a visiting scholar for the 2015-16 academic year at the Russell Sage Foundation. Munya Bryn Munochiveyi was promoted to associate professor of history at the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts.

Iris Mack is a new lecturer at the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Gina Athena Ulysse was promoted to full professor of anthropology at Wesleyan University and Lorelle D. Semley was promoted to associate professor of history at the College of the Holy Cross.

Dr. Peace served as a faculty member and administrator at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, for 21 years. He also held posts at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and for the University of Wisconsin system.

Souleymane Konate is teaching mathematics and computer sciences and Andre Isaacs is an assistant professor of chemistry.
