Position Function: This position serves to develop and manage a newly created Student Success Coaching office located within Ball State’s University College. This position is responsible for coordinating equity-based programs and services designed to help students maximize their potential by guiding their exploration of self, their experiences, values, motivations, and other characteristics in an effort develop personal strategies for college success. This position helps to ensure appropriate and accurate academic records, execute departmental/divisional administrative policies, and use judgement and discretion appropriately.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education. Three years of experience in academic coaching, advising, counseling, student services or a related field in higher education.

Minimum Other: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Knowledge of student success strategies and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education. Professional coach certification recognized by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE), or International Coach Federation (ICF).
