The Middle School Coordinator will identify eligible students from targeted middle and high schools, collecting necessary applications and documentation, disseminating post-secondary educational information, and developing and implementing a uniform grade-level curriculum using a variety of educational activities. Most student contact will be in groups at the target schools (in-person) or at Portland State University. The Coordinator will recruit eligible TS students for Upward Bound, advise a caseload of UB students, teach courses and help facilitate the Upward Bound monthly and Summer programs. The coordinator must be proficient with data base computer systems, email and Microsoft programs
