Job Duties:
The Director of Clinical Experiences position is responsible for administrative activities related to the Teacher Education Services Department to include Field Experiences, Internship Experiences and Teacher Certification. This position reports directly to the College of Education Dean.

Qualifications Required:
•Master’s degree in education
•Evidence of a collegial leadership style
•Ability to organize and work independently
•Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain positive working relationships
Qualifications Preferred:
•Experience with accreditation requirements
•Experience with the Alabama State Department of Education Teacher Certification process
•Doctorate degree in education or in field related
•Experience with database software and Argos
•Experience in using Banner and Excel
Salary Schedule:

About Athens State University
Located in historic Athens, Alabama, Athens State University offers junior and senior-level coursework to community college graduates and transfer students holding sufficient credits from other institutions. Presently, over 3,100 students have selected Athens State because of its neighborly environment where 50 majors and degree programs are offered, with courses taught by a supportive and exceptional faculty.
