Union College — One-Year Visiting Position in US History

The History Department at Union College invites applications for a one-year visiting appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor with an emphasis on US History. This position will begin in Fall 2023. Union College is a leading national liberal arts college deeply committed to undergraduate education.
The college is located in New York’s capital region, a metropolitan area of over one million people. Our region offers affordable livable neighborhoods and a variety of interesting cultural and recreational opportunities. In addition, New York, Boston, and Montreal are located within a three hour drive from campus.
The teaching load at Union College is six courses over three trimesters. The candidate would be expected to offer courses ranging from the introductory level to junior seminars and to supervise senior projects.
