SUMMARY: This position supports the expedition as a subject matter expert for regions around the world. The Expert will work with the rest of the field staff in the delivery of the itinerary as needed, with a focus on ensuring the highest level of guest experience. The Expert is responsible for creating and presenting engaging presentations, as well as in-the-field interpretation. It is essential that this person has excellent social skills as they will be expected to engage with guests throughout each day and work in a fast-paced environment. The Expert must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional duties may be added or assigned at any time.
This is a contract position for a period minimum of 3-4 weeks at a time with varying hours each day, based on the itinerary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS – The following are the essential duties and responsibilities for this position. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
- Prepares several presentations of 30-45 minutes in length, highlighting particular and relevant themes of the trip. Possesses strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Offers relevant field interpretation throughout during touring throughout the trip.
- Responds to requests in a timely manner and is highly visible to guests throughout the trip.
- Prepares and delivers pre-landing destination briefings.
- Effectively deals with challenging guests and situations, and consistently represents TCS with integrity.
- Communicates and reports back to the Enrichment Manager about the guests’ perspectives and experiences.
- Assists with the IFX system to ensure it is prepared and in good working order. Keeps Enrichment and/or Inflight Digital Experience Manager updated with any concerns/problems and assists with troubleshooting.

Required:
- Significant and relevant field and presenting experience. Subject matter expertise in a relevant discipline.

- Personal experience traveling to global destinations.
Preferred:
- Bilingual and/or multilingual
- Luxury travel experience or personal experience with rare, unique, or unusual destinations.
