Job Description:

The Workday System Reporting Analyst provides high level support for Workday reporting needs and operational support to Brown University through reporting across several functional units. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, documentation of reporting requests, writing of reports, testing and executing reports prior to deployment and analysis of report outputs. This position also supports the university and functional units with system configuration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, with 2-4 years data analysis experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Workday report writer tool required
  • Experience with Workday’s HCM, FIN and/or Payroll areas preferred
  • Workday Studio coding platform and Business Intelligence Reporting Tool (BIRT) experience preferred
  • Ability to design user groups to meet end user needs, create initiatives and identify best practices to optimal reporting usage
  • Functional expertise in HR, Benefits, Financials and/or Payroll preferred
  • Work well as an individual and part of a high-performing team
  • Evening and weekend availability during updates is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with a diverse customer base are a must
  • Possesses a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive campus
