Job Description:
The Project Manager will coordinate and manage multiple public health research projects for department research faculty. This includes managing day-to-day project administration, coordinating and tracking multiple project research initiatives; and communicating with research team members (internal and external), collaborators, stakeholders; research participants, undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral students. Responsibilities also include report preparation, assistance with grant applications, completion of Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and reporting, arranging team meetings, creating meeting agendas, and taking meeting minutes. The Project Manager oversees maintenance and updating of project website and communications about project accomplishments. In addition, the project manager is a full member of the qualitative research team and substantively contributes to research protocol design and development; the collection of qualitative data including recruitment and tracking; data analyses and interpretation; dissemination efforts such as manuscripts and conference presentations; and the supervision of research staff, undergraduate, and graduate students.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, a Master’s in Public Health, or Master’s degree with concurrent research experience. Qualitative research experience required. Experience in gerontology preferred.

- Proficiency with NVivo, Atlas.ti, or other qualitative analysis software preferred
