Job Description:
The Associate Director of Stewardship Reporting manages the program dedicated to standard stewardship reporting; implements and executes the coordinated collection of stewardship content from departments and centers across campus, with the support of leadership; and oversees the performance and production of the Stewardship Reporting team. The team manages and executes a program dedicated to providing standardized reporting functions at scale, using a blend of technology, design/creative skills and business process management. The Associate Director utilizes their data acumen and technological sophistication to ensure the accurate creation and delivery of standardized reporting in a scalable and sustainable fashion. These functions are the core of Brown’s efforts to document, celebrate, and communicate the impact of giving to Brown.
The Associate Director works closely with key stakeholders in various departments across the University to collect, curate, and maintain stewardship reporting data and processes and to provide donors with accurate and timely impact information. The Associate Director gathers feedback from partners; delivers best practices, templates, consistency, and streamlined processes; and convenes regular network meetings in support of all partners’ efforts to effectively steward Brown’s donors.
Reporting to the Director of Stewardship, the Associate Director provides regular updates on project and production statuses, documents and maintains all production processes, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement through regular review of practices in light of organizational and strategic needs.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field such as higher education, non-profit, fundraising, or project management.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to identify business and partner needs; translate to solutions and technical specifications
- Project management, including defining project scopes, requirements, roles and responsibilities, etc
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret data and use it to drive marketing and/or business decisions
- Experience with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems is essential and competency/comfort learning and using new technologies
- Proficient data integrity skills and ability to utilize data to improve/automate processes
- Proficient knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with database query tools strongly preferred.
