Description: The NC State University Data Science Academy (DSA) is hiring a cohort of four postdoctoral fellows for two year appointments funded by the National Science Foundation. A primary goal of the DSA is to broaden participation in data science and to enhance data science across the whole university. We, along with the university, champion a culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging and are seeking a postdoctoral cohort that supports this mission who have varied backgrounds, professional experience and research interests to engage in Data Science education research focused on the DSA All-Campus Data Science Accessible Project-based Teaching and Learning (ADAPT) course design model. Postdocs will be mentored by a group of professors with varied backgrounds, professional expertise and research interests. Applicants who support the mission of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging and applicants who have limited experience in either data science education or education research are encouraged to apply.
