Montrale Boykin Is the New Leader of the Graduate School at Winston-Salem State University

Montrale Boykin is the new interim dean of the Graduate College at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. In this role, he will lead the effort to develop, manage, and improve the institutional infrastructure that promotes graduate education, graduate student and post-doctoral professionalization, and graduate student inquiry.

Since 2012, Dr. Boykin has served as the co-chairperson of the department of health care management in the School of Health Sciences at the university. He first joined the staff at the university in 2006.

Boykin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration and a law degree from North Carolina Central University in Durham.
