Cleveland State University — Assistant College Lecturer in Social Work

Cleveland State University’s School of Social Work is searching for a full-time appointment as a non-tenure track Assistant College Lecturer beginning August 21, 2023. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach both web-based and face-to-face classes at the graduate and undergraduate level (a total of eight courses per academic year) and is expected to engage in usual University and community service. The School of Social Work educates students of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds and values a diverse faculty and staff.

Minimum qualifications:
Master of Social Work degree;
Five years post-MSW practice experience;
Social work license or ability to be licensed in Ohio; and
Interest in and ability to teach both face-to-face and online courses.

Preferred qualifications:
Doctorate in Social Work or related field;
Evidence of successful teaching experience;
The ability to teach across a range of Social Work content area; and
The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.
