The College of Education, Human Performance and Health seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor for the Exercise and Sport Science Program. The successful candidate for this position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses focused on exercise and sport science related fields, which could include exercise physiology, strength training and conditioning, fitness assessment and prescription, and clinical exercise testing and prescription. Competitive candidates will have a strong academic background in Exercise Science, demonstrated experience working collaboratively with local and regional stakeholders, advising students, and prioritizing student success and learning. Utilize expertise in teaching diverse populations, as well as a demonstrated commitment to working collegially with all faculty and stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree or equivalent in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or closely related field; ABD candidates with a planned completion date by December 31, 2022, for a January 1, 2023, start date, or August 15, 2023, for an August 16, 2023, start date, are encouraged to apply. An emerging research agenda with presentations and/or publications focused on Exercise and Sport Science or related fields is also required. A successful background check is required.
