The UCLA Samueli School of Engineering invites applications for multiple open rank tenure-track faculty positions in one or more of our departments: Bioengineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Applicants for the positions must have a demonstrated record of excellence in, or show exceptional promise for, high-quality research, teaching, and professional development, as well as a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. by the date of hire in a related field. Applications will be considered at all levels.

Expertise in one or more of the school's focus areas is desirable: engineering in medicine and biology; sustainable and resilient urban systems; artificial intelligence and machine learning; cryptography, cybersecurity and networking; advanced materials and manufacturing; and robotics and cyber-physical systems. However, talented applicants in other areas will also be considered.
