University of Cincinnati — Cluster Hire in Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology at University of Cincinnati (UC) seeks candidates for two faculty positions as part of a hiring initiative to grow our capacity to train psychologists as scientist-practitioners serving diverse populations. The two open positions are both tenure track with research, teaching, and service roles. For the Health Equity position, we are searching for a colleague with diversity science, minority health/mental health, and/or African-American mental health research interests. For the Open Research position, we will review applications with broader research interests, including, but not limited to, neuropsychology, pediatric psychology, or health equity.

UC’s campus is located in urban Cincinnati, a vibrant, racially diverse city (43% African American, 49% White, 8% other represented minority groups) with an active arts scene, national sports teams, an abundance of local restaurants, high quality school systems, and other opportunities for satisfying work/life balance. The University of Cincinnati strives to provide a supportive environment for all faculty. For example, we have an active Black Faculty Association, Latino Faculty Association, and LGBTQ faculty association. In addition, the University of Cincinnati has an institutional membership to the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity.
