Clark Atlanta University — Vice President for Student Affairs

Clark Atlanta University (CAU or the University) seeks an experienced and high-energy change leader to serve as the University’s vice president for student affairs (vice president or VPSA). This individual will develop and execute a vision and strategy for a modern student affairs division that advances and deeply invests in the totality of the student experience. This position will provide an opportunity for a highly motivated and knowledgeable student affairs professional to make a lasting impact at one of the nation’s most historically significant institutions. 

This position comes at an exciting time of transformation and growth for the institution and calls for an accomplished student affairs professional with a proven track record of vision, strategy, and assessment; experience managing and directing diverse campus-wide departments; and evidence of consistently evolving thought as it relates to the ever-changing needs of collegiate students and institutions. With a diverse student body and a wide array of student needs, the vice president will be charged with serving as a strategic and visionary leader, developing and leading a strong student-services-focused division, advancing changes within residential life, and serving as a highly visible advocate for students and a trusted partner to campus leadership.
