Job Description:

The Program Coordinator, Brown Annual Fund Initiatives and Operations participates in the engagement, support, and stewardship of volunteers, with a strong emphasis on the tools and initiatives needed to build and sustain a corps of 2,500 Brown Annual Fund undergraduate alumni volunteer solicitors, who raise $7-10 million through peer-to-peer outreach. The incumbent achieves this through assisting the Assistant Director, Brown Annual Fund Initiatives in planning and coordinating key initiatives on behalf of the Brown Annual Fund. The Coordinator serves as the Annual Giving team manager and Division expert for the Brown Annual Fund Volunteer management tool, collaborates with colleagues on volunteer tools, engagement, and events, and is responsible for compiling reports on volunteer impact for the Brown Annual Fund, all in service of establishing a best-in-class fundraising volunteer program.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a related field such as fundraising, development, support, and/or customer relations

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to word-processing, spreadsheet, mail merge, and database software required
  • Detail-oriented, with previous experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with various University constituencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database query tools
  • Experience with CRM databases that support high-level and broad-base fundraising
  • Experience in a higher-education or non-profit setting
  • Demonstrated success in data management
