Job Description:

The Program Coordinator, Brown Annual Fund Initiatives & Operations supports the engagement, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects and donors, with a strong emphasis on securing donors to the Brown Annual Fund via giving days and marketing and communications efforts. The incumbent achieves this through assisting the Associate Director, Brown Annual Fund Initiatives & Operations in planning and coordinating key initiatives on behalf of the Brown Annual Fund. In partnership with the Associate Director, Brown Annual Fund Initiatives & Operations, the Program Coordinator serves as the Annual Giving team logistics manager on giving days and marketing and communications projects that acquire, renew, and upgrade donors, and collaborates with advancement colleagues on materials and tools that empower prospect managers and BAF fundraisers to raise $50+ million in annual giving dollars.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a related field such as fundraising, development, support, marketing and/or customer relations

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to word-processing, spreadsheet, mail merge, and database software required
  • Detail-oriented and experience balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate with various university constituencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a higher-education or non-profit setting
  • Experience with database query tools
  • Demonstrated success in data management
