Brown University — Administrative Coordinator

Job Description:

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing the day to day administrative support and general operational needs to the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (department faculty, managers, staff, postdocs and students). Responsibilities include processing expense reports, supplier invoices, purchase requests, interacting with vendors, maintenance requests, card and key access requests, room scheduling and space reservations, department event coordination and support, supply orders, and providing back-up support to other administrative staff as needed.

Education and Experience


  • Associates degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of related administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.


  • Experience in an academic or non-profit setting.
