Located in Peoria, a vibrant, thriving city in west central Illinois, Bradley is a top-ranked, private university providing 5,400 students with resources not found at small colleges. Foremost among those resources are student opportunities for innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurial endeavors, all nestled in a diverse, engaging and personalized academic environment. The TSEI is the first independent school of its kind and is a national leader in entrepreneurial education. Centrally located as a standalone school within the governance structure of the university, the TSEI receives continuous support and generosity from Robert and Carolyn Turner. The school is deeply committed to shaping the minds of Bradley students and molding them into tomorrow’s leaders in enterprise. Whether students currently own a business, endeavor to start a venture, have a desire to turn ideas into opportunities or plan to acquire entrepreneurial skills applicable to a large company, the TSEI is committed to serving Bradley students across the university.

Reporting to the provost, the executive and academic director has the opportunity to continue to steward and partner with an established advisory board; foster relationships with partners internally and externally; and work with a supportive administration to sustain a dynamic school well-poised and proven to lead entrepreneurship efforts at Bradley.

The executive and academic director will also carry the title of Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship in the Foster College of Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and vision for the TSEI with a focus on growing an entrepreneurial mindset across campus. The position is primarily administrative in nature, although the successful candidate will have a scholarship record to merit the rank of full-professor, thus also having the opportunity to teach one class each semester in the area of entrepreneurship. The TSEI has appointed an actively engaged advisory board comprised of seasoned executives with extensive experience and support for entrepreneurship. The selected candidate will seek out the opportunity to leverage board members and other relationships to continue to foster and work with the active entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Peoria area.
