Job Summary:
As a member of the Advancement Services team, the Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst is responsible for Advancement support in delivery of information to advance the mission of the college. This position uses the Advancement system and data warehouse along with knowledge of the data to produce informational assets to include in-depth analysis, reports, lists, charts, and dashboards that assist stakeholders across the college with engaging alumni and raising private funds. The Advancement Information Analyst consults with end-users to analyze their ongoing needs and develop reliable solutions and is an active participant in the development of analytics to evaluate advancement metrics. This position reports to the Strategic Data and Technology Manager.

Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and provide accurate and timely reports to support Institutional Advancement operations.
• Eager to learn/advance new static and dynamic reporting as well as data querying technologies in Tableau, SAS etc.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify business intelligence (BI), reporting and data analysis needs.
• Interpret business requirements and determine optimum BI solutions to meet needs.
• Participate in project planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions.
• Collaborate with the Strategic Data and Technology Manager to support on-going projects and enhance the functionality of database systems, including participating in the implementation of a new CRM.
• Analyze, develop, and maintain quality control in management of advancement information to ensure data integrity.
• Responsible for the technical projects and activities of Advancement Services in the Manager’s absence.
• Collaborate with Advancement team members to analyze internal data and processes develop effective solutions driven by business goals and requirements.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the integrated data and reporting solutions utilized in advancement and enthusiastically stay current on new technology that may enhance Advancement Services’ operation.
• Create and maintain current technical documentation and provide oversight for the development and currency of user manuals.
• Work as part of a team demonstrating Rollins’ Colleges service excellence standards.
• Act as a consultant to help teammates and stakeholders gain knowledge from the information provided to support decisions.

Minimum Qualifications & Education:	
• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field.
• Requires 2+ years of job-related experience (advancement or data reporting).
• Technology experience – SQL coding, Tableau, and/or other BI experience
• Experience in enterprise reporting tools as well as dashboard tools like Tableau.
• Database systems knowledge; Business Analysis or related technical experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to handle confidential information, maintain and update files with high degree of accuracy, and sensitivity to the importance of stewardship and donor relations.
• Strong organizational, time-management and analytical skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate priorities and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and grammar.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with stakeholders and colleagues across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Banner Advancement or other similar ERP Systems.
• Work experience in an educational and/or non-profit organization.

Work Environment:
• Campus-based, front-facing customer service position, working in an office environment.
• Work requires visual strain and use of computer.
• Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be required on an “as needed” basis.

About Advancement Services at Rollins College:
Advancement Services is responsible for meeting the reporting, technology, stewardship, gift processing, and data acquisition/integrity needs of the Division of Institutional Advancement and the broader Rollins community. The team is comprised of four distinct but interrelated functions: Technology and Reporting, Gifts & Records, Research & Moves Management and Donor Relations. Technology and Reporting serve our division and the community with accurate and timely information to help support strategic decisions and communication audiences. Gifts & Records complete all gift processing and records maintenance for our alumni and friends. Research & Moves Management supports efforts to raise resources to advance the College by developing and managing procedures for systematically evaluating sources of support from individuals, foundations, and corporations and Donor Relations stewards the College’s donors through reporting, engagement and recognition.
