Brown University — Gift Accounting Operations Specialist

Job Description:

The Gift Accounting Operations Specialist serves as a specialized liaison between development staff and gift accounting, providing donor-centric operational support and ensuring compliance with donor preferences. This position will lead proactive and thorough revenue processes, with a special focus on electronic funds transfer functions. The position will also preserve the internal control environment through regular batch audits and reconciliations.  In partnership with the gift accounting leadership team, this individual will take the lead on designated projects that advance the organizational mission. During high volume periods, the Gift Accounting Operations Specialist will record donor pledges and payments to support business continuity.
