Job Summary
The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the College of Business, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Teach courses in finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels (the typical teaching load is two courses each in the fall and spring semesters); publish academic research in top-tier finance journals; perform service activities as per the departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in finance or a related field.

Department and College Information
The College of Business is AACSB accredited and offers a supportive environment for research with salary, research support, and teaching load competitive with other major research universities. The Department of Finance and Real Estate houses the Ryan-Reilly Center for Urban Land Utilization, has an active Financial Literacy Program, and manages the state-of-the-art Sam Mahrouq Financial Markets Lab. The department offers Ph.D. in Finance, MS and BBA in Real Estate, MS in Quantitative Finance, and BBA in Finance programs. The department currently consists of twelve full-time faculty, including eight tenured and tenure-track faculty. Its faculty have published in top journals in finance and real estate.
