Job Summary:
The Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership within the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College is looking for a Senior Program Manager to be a part of a mission-driven team who values collaboration, understands the intricacies of nonprofit management, and embraces the power of education. This position will offer leadership to open enrollment and custom programming. The Senior Program Manager position encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
• Oversight of development, planning, implementation, marketing and evaluation of programs and events at the Edyth Bush Institute.
• Oversight/management of nonprofit sector research.
• Responsible for program scheduling, planning, pricing, and budgeting.
• Provision of advanced technical/professional leadership and direction in areas of expertise.
• Collaborate with Executive Director and program team to sustain, promote, and grow EBI programs and services.
• Strategic representation and collaboration interaction with a wide range of high-level external constituencies.
• Facilitation of affinity groups and roundtables for new executive directors and development directors
• Program management of Donors Forum of Central Florida.

Essential Job Functions:
Oversight of development, planning, implementation, marketing, and evaluation of programs, special convenings, and events at the Edyth Bush Institute. Areas of study include: nonprofit management, board governance, fundraising, and volunteer management
• Sets program goals and devises new methods for improving, expanding, and sustaining program activities to meet open enrollment and custom budget goal

Oversight/management of nonprofit sector research
• Management of Institute's bi-annual compensation & benefits survey & report
• Execution of Institute's impact measurement evaluation
• Advise and conduct other research to be determined

Responsible for program scheduling, planning, pricing, and budgeting
• Ensure full calendar in OE, aligned with budget
• Contract management of boutique, destination and specialty custom programming
• Ensure strong instructor bench strength to meet the demands of Institute programming

Determine demand for multi-day series programs and other special programming (e.g. Explore Earned Income, New ED Bootcamp, etc.)
• Conduct needs assessments/surveys to ascertain need for programs
• Oversee development of multi-day programs including content and instructors with program managers

Provision of advanced technical/professional leadership and direction in areas of expertise
• Instruction of workshops, custom program delivery, as needed

Strategic representation and collaboration interaction with a wide range of high-level external constituencies

Facilitation of affinity groups and roundtables for new executive directors and development directors

Program management of Donors Forum of Central Florida

Provide content on program areas for which he/she has responsibility for the Institute's grant and contract reports.

Handle and resolve any disputes within or related to the program and department, in support of Executive Director

Monitor activities assigned to other staff members

Provide management assistance for nonprofits

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Hire, train and handle discipline and termination of subordinate employees
• Assist with or conduct performance evaluation that are timely and constructive

Minimum Qualifications & Education:	
• Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of nonprofit leadership experience.
• Experience in business development.
• Experience in teaching, training or consulting.
• Ability to lead and facilitate groups; understanding of group dynamics.
• Thorough knowledge of the nonprofit sector and nonprofit organization management including board governance and management.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Demonstrates excellent leadership qualities, including ability to collaborate, motivate and earn respect of other staff.
• Exhibits qualities of a creative thinker.
• Aptitude in problem solving.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Web research.
• Knowledge and practice of organizational, project and time management skills. Intellectual curiosity and commitment to excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Supervisory experience.
• Masters in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience in curriculum development.

Work Environment:
• Campus-based, front-facing customer service position, working in an office environment with other staff members and volunteers.
• Regular use of a computer and databases.
• Travel to outside meetings, trainings, etc. throughout the state.
• Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be required on an “as needed” basis.
