Northeast Ohio Medical University — Curriculum Site Coordinator (4 positions available)

This position will be embedded at a clinical site/hospital and will report to the Curriculum Manager and Director of Curriculum Operations or designee in matters related to policy and procedure and in matters related to the coordination of curricular activities in specified areas of responsibility. Acting as a liaison between Northeast Ohio Medical University and the clinical site, this individual will be responsible for coordinating curriculum and enhancing relationships among faculty, students, and clinical partners within the clinical site.

Pay Grade: 8
Pay Grade Starting Salary: $46,300-$54,788
Location: Akron, Canton, Cleveland, or Youngstown

Principal Functional Responsibilities
Assist in course implementation at the site, including and not limited to:

  • Coordination of student onboarding, schedules,
  • Coordination of clerkship orientations, and instructional sessions.
  • Facilitation of evaluation processes and other related curricular activities.
  • Development of timelines and processes in collaboration with multiple site directors and coordinators
  • Coordination and maintenance of curricular content in LMS or designated software for assigned courses, including electronic student schedule, with ability to maintain and secure confidential information, records, and materials. | 45%

Monitor and ensure that the student’s experience is of the highest quality. Function as point person for student experience and support. Identify additional needs for students and connect them with the necessary resources. Obtain and maintain position expertise and serve as the point person for on-site student logistics. | 20%

Work collaboratively with site to enhance relationships with the faculty and university. Individual would facilitate resident and faculty onboarding. Coordinate necessary access to essential university systems and software. Interact professionally with healthcare practitioners, faculty, public and students to create favorable impression of NEOMED. | 20%

Assist in the facilitation of on-site curriculum initiatives. Proactively identify problems and recommend solutions that increase efficiency and service quality while improving curriculum delivery and operations. Assist Manager with analyzing work processes and creating standard operating procedures.| 10%

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, allied health, communications or business health care experience considered in lieu of education requirement


  • Two to four years’ experience in higher education or health-related field.
