Job Description:

This role provides skilled human resources and financial support within the Division of Campus Life, a large division of 18 offices, departments and centers, more than 200 staff and a complex budget. This position is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of, interpreting, and applying University policies.  Major responsibilities include entering and processing HR and Financial transactions for staff and students primarily in Workday, providing high-level and responsive support for HR and Financial processes and actions involving five Health & Wellness departments and other Campus Life departments and centers as assigned, serving as an HR and Financial Coordinator in Workday, being responsible for the application and oversight of daily human resources and financial business processes, and serving as a resource to staff and student workers. This position serves as the Workday subject matter expert to assist with HR and financial processes while supporting recruitment, personnel actions, hires, terminations, leaves of absence, promotions, transfers, coordination of training and performance management, overpayments/underpayments, expense reimbursements, requisitions, supplier invoices, receipts and journal entries, and other related transactions.

Job Qualifications 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using Workday in a Financial and/or HR capacity is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in an academic setting is preferred.
  • HR and financial experience in a medical or other health-related setting is a plus.
