Manage and oversees the composition and coordination of operations related to university’s in person and virtual testing, test scoring, inclusive of exam software management, collaboration with course coordinators, directors, faculty and staff administration with respect to testing implementation and academic integrity of the testing environment. Maintain and manage accurate and confidential exam score calculations and assessment report distribution. Regulate extensive level of exam and academic integrity.

Pay Range: $41,156 – $46,992

Principal Functional Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate overall functioning of Testing Services department. Supervise and oversee the overall logistics of online exam administration for the university’ s colleges and graduate programs including creation and deployment of online exam specifics, collaboration with course coordinators and course directors in regards to exam components of each course and student information data management room/computer set-up, computer maintenance, etc. Provide oversight and coordination among students in regard to testing functionalities.
  2. Subject matter expert in online testing software for both NEOMED based and National Board exams. Serve as a consultant and trainer to course directors/faculty and course coordinators regarding question bank management, exam creation, and rubric assessments and valuable data for grading performance assessments. Collaborate with software technical support for ExamSoft and NBME and NEOMED IT support to resolve issues related to testing and development of data systems and sources to support the university’s curriculum needs. Maintain software settings that affect online testing functionality. Conducts equipment inventory to ensure all computers are in proper working order and sufficient numbers of available equipment for all exam needs.
  3. Manage the processing of first and second year medicine, first – fourth year pharmacy as well as graduate studies’ exams for score preparation and report distribution to course directors, staff administration, registrar and students. Manage exam reports using the university’s LMS system, and online testing portal in accordance with parameters established by each course, ensuring accuracy and maintaining highest level of confidentiality.
  4. Perform high level support such as serving as Testing Services representative, non-voting member of Student Accessibility Support Center (SASC), represent testing services to curriculum, staff and faculty meetings involving exam administration, data and report management to better support the curriculum needs for student success. Apply technical knowledge to resolve academic integrity issues. Evaluate training and development needs, manage exam and staff schedules, as well as coaching and guiding direct reports on day-to-day operations and procedures of exam specifics and testing deployment. Collaborate with leadership team of each college across the university to clarify and resolve issues with respect to exam administration.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences/statistics or related field required.

Experience: Strong background/understanding of, and experience for at least two years in, data processing and statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in these fields preferred.
