Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Dean of Undergraduate Admissions.

THE POSITION

Reporting directly to Chief Enrollment Officer, the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and assessment for all aspects of recruitment and outreach to contribute to the enrollment of academically talented and diverse undergraduate students.

The Dean will represent Bryn Mawr at on-campus recruitment and yield programs as well as off-campus events and collaborative recruitment programs with other selective institutions and will lead the staff in a strong appreciation for diversity and access.  This position will lead a talented admissions and operations staff through open communications, transparency, feedback, and goal setting.    The Dean will hire, train, supervise, provide professional development opportunities, and ensure an environment of mutual respect, support, and camaraderie within the admissions office.  The Dean will collaborate with Admissions Officers to create and implement a comprehensive strategy for cultivating and enhancing relationships with high school counselors, community-based agency leaders, and key educational stakeholders.  Additionally, the Dean will work closely with members of the Enrollment Leadership Team for data informed enrollment planning and decisions.

Master’s degree required with a minimum of five years’ experience with increased admissions responsibility in a postsecondary setting.  The position is a full-time exempt position.
