MIT Sloan School of Business — Associate Director, Executive Career Development

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, EXECUTIVE CAREER DEVELOPMENT, Sloan School of Management-Executive Career Development Team (ECDT) (part-time, 75%), to work under the supervision of the director of ECT in providing executive career coaching and programming for three populations–Sloan Fellows MBAs, Executive MBAs, and Sloan Alumni. Will work closely with each of the three lead ECDT coaches who oversee all coaching and programming efforts for their assigned population and also interact with the ECDT’s contract coaches; support overall career management–through one-one coaching–for the achievement of students’/alumni’s career goals; and periodically collaborate with other members of the ECDT on panel, webinar, or presentation development and delivery. May provide peer-to-peer group coaching support focused on job search strategy and accountability and post-landing onboarding success groups.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years of career coaching experience, preferably executive career coaching; executive coaching certification from an ICF certified provider; comprehensive knowledge of business, business careers, and an understanding of the executive MBA career landscape; a background with roles in industry; experience with coaching high potential young alumni, mid-career managers, and senior leaders/C-suite; experience creating, planning, and delivering high-impact, interactive career workshop/training sessions; excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and networking skills; collaborative approach; and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED: advanced degree and assessment certifications in tools such as Gallup StrengthsFinder and similar.
