University of Missouri- St. Louis — Vice Chancellor for University Advancement

The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice Chancellor for University Advancement. Reporting to the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor has broad responsibility and oversight of all aspects of the University Advancement office—overseeing UMSL’s fundraising activities including donor and alumni engagement, corporate and foundation activities, and advancement services.

Our next Vice Chancellor for Advancement will plan, finalize, and launch our next comprehensive campaign and build a high-functioning, collaborative, and aligned advancement office that unifies corporate engagement, development, major gifts, and alumni activities. To be successful, this Vice Chancellor must be energized by the prospect of building and developing a comprehensive advancement strategy that: (1) attains the targets and metrics dictated by UMSL’s strategic plan, (2) uses UMSL’s uniqueness to its advantage, (3) builds a culture of philanthropy at all levels of giving, (4) ensures the region sees UMSL as the vital partner it is for its collective success, and (5) revitalizes the importance of our alumni in advancement.
