Baruch College — Lecturer, Marketing and International Business

Job Description:
The Allen G. Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York is seeking applicants for three Lecturer positions, two general marketing lecturers with a wide teaching portfolio and one that can teach international business, international marketing and business fundamentals. The positions begin in the fall semester of 2022. The Lecturer will be expected to perform teaching and related faculty functions in the area of Marketing and/or International Business. The Lecturer will also be expected to participate in Baruch’s “Inclusive Pedagogy” workshop and CUNY’s “Innovative Teaching Academy”.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
  • At least a Master’s degree (though preference will be given to applicants with PhD or DBA degrees in Marketing and/or International Business) and the ability to teach successfully. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effectiveness in teaching in at least two of the three modalities of in-person, hybrid, and online-only.
  • Preference will also be given to applicants who demonstrate the ability to perform faculty-related administrative or other service work within the department. Research in the scholarship of teaching and learning, especially as it relates to the specific discipline, is encouraged (although not required).
